Chapter 13

Amy woke up to the sun blaring at her from all different directions. She felt a heavy blanket on top of her. She groaned groggily feeling half-crushed by it. She tried to get up and push the blanket off by flailing around but it was fruitless.
Strong gusts of wind rustled her hair and she couldnt un pin her arms to get the stray hairs to stop tickling her nose. Finally, she decided to open her eyes to assess this evil blanket, but she realised she was mistaken. It was in fact not a blanket, but a sleeping Andrew's hand.

She froze. 'We slept here all night?' She asked herself. 'Mum will be so pissed' she began to sweat, hoping her parents didnt call the cops to file a missing person's report.
She herd her phone receive a text. She twisted her head to see her phone about 2 meters from her head.
"I want out" she huffed and began to wriggle around enough so that his hand lifted a little and she ever so slowly shuffled out.
Once out, she was on her hands and knees. She looked over to Andrew's face and he was still sound asleep. For some reason she was afraid to wake him up so she began to slowly creep over to her phone and sat down and looked at her lock screen

- 6 am 'Amy we're getting worried. Are you ok?' Father

- 5:30 am 'Amy...we need to talk. Something happened.' Jacob

- 5 am 'Amy I have to tell you something. Please reply!' Caitlin

- 3 am ' hope you're ok and arent lying in a gutter somewhere...' - mother

1 am 'was out on the town and saw Kyle with some giant chick...??' Caitlin

- 12 am 'whats the homework for pretty much all our classes. I got onto Caitlin and she is helping me with homework...forgot how hot she was!' - Jacob

As Amy read her heart sunk deeply. 'Kyle was with someone else..?' She whimpered to herself. She quickly replied to her parents letting them know what happened. She never lied to them and this wasnt any different. Then she went on to reply to Caitlin and Jacob in a group text asking what happened.

'Its more of an in person kinda thing...where are you?' Caitlin texted
'Yeah, maybe we should meet up for breakfast..or lunch' Jacob texted too
'Its complicated to tell you where I am... Just meet me at the combined park. Andrew will be coming too. Bring me food Jacob xo' Amy replied then put her phone down.

She sighed and rubbed her eyes. Just then, she felt her phone vibrate.
'Goodmorning 😉' Andrew

She was slighting confused, then she felt him chuckling underneath her. She quickly turned around to see Andrew looking at her sleepily.
"I didnt even feel you get your phone" Amy laughed
"I'm pretty stealthy" he winked.
Amy's heart beat fast. His voice was deep and gravelly from sleep. It sounded...sexy, which added to the seductiveness of his wink.
"Heh" she laughed uncomfortably
"Did we really sleep her all night?" She added
"I guess we did" he laughed, but it turned more into a yawn/stretch.
He stretching his body out like a cat and she swear she could almost hear him purr like one too.
"Jacob and Caitlin want to meet in the park for brunch" Amy said to break the silence
"Do we do...brunch?" Andrew asked, raising a brow
'We..?' Her head replayed. 'What does he mean by we? Did I miss something last night?'
He must have seen the look on her face and sighed.
"I meant we as in in this day and age. Calm down" he smiled
Amy smiled, now embarrassed.
"So..since when do Caitin and Jacob hang out?" Andrew changed the subject
"No idea...but apparently they both need to tell me something...but Caitlin texted at 1 am saying she say Kyle out with another girl...a giant.." Amy said quietly
" I bet the hooked up" Andrew laughed
"What?!" Amy said, completely surprised
"What? If he did I'd be happy for him, he needs it. Plus, they'd look good together" Andrew went on
" look Andrew I know you like me but why would you say that when you know how I feel about him" Amy said, upset
"Amy what are you on about?" Andrew asked, confused
"Its because shes a giant isnt it? What just because they're both the same race means they would look better together? Am I the less better option because I'm human? Why do you like me then? Do you think just because you're a giant you can manipulate me to not like him? God why do giants think they're so superior? Whats so great about them? You are all big dumb idiots who dont listen or care about anyone else!" Amy cried

"Wow...ok" Andrew looked like he's taken a hard hit.
He shuffled up in his seat more and brought his hands up to his face and sighed and rubbed his face. He then brought them back down and looked at her
"Amy, I was talking about Jacob and Caitlin." He said flatly
Amy slapped her hand over her mouth.
"Andrew...I..I..I didnt..mean.." Amy stammered but couldnt get her words out
"But you said it, so deep down, you did mean it." Andrew sighed
"No Andrew, I dont know what came over me..I'm tired and confused and I just-"
"Just don't...talk Please" Andrew said with a pained expression
"Andrew..." Amy tried
"Please" He asked sadly
Amy hung her head.
